Get Away Petsitters was formed in 2002 by Trish and Tim Belue to help other pet owners get away without the guilt and worry of leaving their pets at home. Also it is our way of getting our “fix” without adopting anymore pets. Our pack includes two dogs, Jack and Forest, two cats, Spice and Moey, and one “catdog”, our latest rescue, Miller. Get Away Petsitters provides professional pet sitting services in areas of Hoover, Pelham and Helena.

Moet Belue

This girl is our oldest pet. Moet is 14 years old and getting sweeter everyday.
She looks forward to cold weather each year so she can sit right in front of the fireplace to warm her aching bones. I had to snap the pic of her in front of the fireplace so we can always remember her doing what she likes best. She gets it from me and Tim. They don't get any sweeter than this girl. So glad when a neighbor brought her to me so many years ago and asked if I wanted another cat (only had 2 then). Thanks Daniel - I can never repay you for this gift.

Jack and Millie

These two rat terriers are two peas in a pod. They are the most loving dogs and were always happy to see us come to visit. Talk about hospitality - Millie would bring us a bone each time we arrived. Gotta love this Southern girl. Jack has the most unusal markings I have ever seen. On both sides of his body, his black patches make diamonds. We had a bunch of good walks with these two Auburn fans.
War Eagle Jack and Millie. We can't wait til our next "Pet Rally".

Tucker and Beau

Over the holidays and just last week we were lucky enough to spend some time with these guys. This little Bijon Friese is Beau. He is a great little fellow and always happy to see you. His brother Tucker is a hoot. He gets so excited to see you he runs in circles. These guys love the treats and they love their walks too. Guys, we hope Debbie travels more.

Costa Rica here we come...

My Grandma, what big teeth you have...

Well, with Mom and Dad vacationing for two months in South America, the cats are sleeping and eating. We woke Junior up before he was finished with his nap. What a yawn! Uh oh, now I'm yawning too. It is true what they say...

Tiger, Junior's brother usually greets us at the door each day happy to see someone, cause it's been about six weeks since John and Linda went south. But this day, we caught Tiger taking a nap too. He looked so sweet with his head on the pillow.

Hang in there guys, one more week and they'll be home; then we'll miss you.

Snowed in with Dudley

With the impending "snowstorm" on the way to Alabam, Dudley joined us just in case we got snowed in and couldn't get to he and his brother Abita (cool cat). Of course we had no problem because the weathermen missed again. Anyway, "D" enjoyed his stay as he had his own bedroom and bay window to look out. (Not to mention his own queen size bed!) This fellow makes himself at home wherever he goes. Abita was glad to see him return today because things get kind of boring without Dudley to entertain. Thanks for making us laugh Duds and a special thanks to Ann for the Shrimp Creole! As Justin used to say, "That be some good stuff."
